October is Infant loss & child bereavement awareness month. Often, when a child has past, they leave siblings behind. This week I am joined by a very special, courageous & compassionate guest Aishleen O’ Toole.
Aishleen is a bereaved sister to three siblings, Declan, Jacinta & Fintan. Aishleen’s courage is clear throughout this podcast in her ability to discuss the tragedies of her siblings’ untimely deaths & also in sharing honestly how her and her living siblings manage these intense losses. Aishleen shares the information on the incredible Charity Foundation that her family set up in order to help other bereaved siblings along their journey of grief: Jacinta’s Smile- Sibling Bereavement Support.
I felt like this podcast could have gone on & on, a bit like grief, there is never a full destination or end date. I am privileged to have had Aishleen in person with me to record & I know this podcast will touch many hearts. #Couragebringscommunityconnection.

We chat all things Grief Ireland, how and when Kathy came up with the concept to create something so powerful, unique , inspirational and above all needed for the bereaved hearts in Ireland. A true place to connect, feel seen, heard and validated in your experience.
Many people now belong to the heart of Grief Ireland Community even though this is not the club anyone would sign up to be apart of , it is a space to never feel alone in your journey of loss and that is healing & truly impactful on the lives of many.
